If you purchased firmware and need to flash it then also follow the steps below. (If your current firmware does not support firmware upgrades then follow the steps below)
You can flash this demo firmware to your SmartDeyeDongle. Then use the menu option to configure the wifi.
Next you need to plug it into your inverter and it will read and populate some fields.
Use the “Check” button to look for a firmware upgrade, if it is available then install the upgrade with the update button. It will install the latest firmware and any bugfixes and enhancements.

For the V4 Circuit bootstrap14.bin (This version flashes V4.6 Firmware, soon the be updated)
For the V5 Circuit you can download it here bootstrap17V5.bin (This version will flash V4.7 Firmware)
Flash it to offset 0x000 with the tool below (enable debug mode) and set the speed to the lowest speed (115200)

Be sure keep the “boot” button pressed on the Dongle while connecting the USB, keep the button pressed till the flasher starts writing and showing percentages.
I had no issues flashing V5 (No need to press any buttons on the circuit)
